That this House recognises the excellent work of the South West London NHS, all local healthcare providers and those giving unpaid care at home under difficult circumstances over the winter of 2022-23; understands that the quality of service is testament to the dedication, skill and innovation of NHS clinicians and leaders; appreciates that, in the face of years of underinvestment and lack of workforce planning, the Government’s pay offer to nurses would be a real terms cut in pay; and encourages the Government to do all they can to reward NHS staff for their work, encourage them to stay and attract new people to the health service by offering them a fair pay rise.
