Caledonia Gladiators: BBL Trophy

That this House congratulates the Caledonia Gladiators, who defeated Cheshire Phoenix in the BBL Trophy Final at the Emirates Arena on Sunday 26 March 2023; notes that the Caledonia Gladiators won 73-70 in a dramatic finish which saw David Sloan score the winning three points on the final buzzer; further congratulates Jeremiah Bailey, who was awarded MVP and given Molten’s golden basketball following his contribution of 16 points, 8 rebounds, and 4 assists; is grateful for the continued leadership of captain Jonny Bunyan; appreciates the work that head coach and former player Gareth Murray has put into the development of the team over many years; notes the commitment of owners Steve and Alison Timoney to the men's and women's Caledonia Gladiators teams; and wishes the Caledonia Gladiators, their players, staff and fans all the best for the future.
