100th anniversary of Glentoran Supporters 1923 Committee

That this House marks the 100th anniversary of the Glentoran Supporters 1923 Committee; notes that this supporters club is the oldest football supporters club in Northern Ireland and has a proud record of volunteering in their support of Glentoran FC; further notes that this includes being at forefront of the Back to the Oval campaign, following the stadium’s destruction in World War II and, since 1946, producing the match day Glentoran Gazette which recently won the prestigious Programme of the Year for the 22nd consecutive year; and commends members, past and present, for their dedication and many achievements over the past century.
