Knox Academy's fundraising for the Teenage Cancer Trust

That this House congratulates pupils, staff and parents from Knox Academy in Haddington, East Lothian, on raising more than £4,500 by participating in the Edinburgh Marathon Festival in aid of Teenage Cancer Trust; understands that the contenders ran and raised money in support of a student who was diagnosed with a rare type of bone cancer in October 2022; notes that the goal was to raise £3,000, and that pupils and staff had previously tackled the Edinburgh Marathon Festival in aid of East Lothian Special Needs Play-scheme; commends Kelly McInnes on completing the full marathon, Lana Borwick, Oscar Pirie, Ollie Craig, Alicia Coyle, Jacob Hippie, Connor Wightman, Sam Hutchison, Cain Coles and Calum McBain on completing the half marathon, and Leo Harrison, Rebecca Halliwell, Robert Flood, Olivia Dale, Jenny Wright, Isla Kilkenny, Ellen Davidson, Gemma Scott and Carys McKnight on completing the 10k route; and wishes everyone the very best of luck with their futures and future fundraising efforts.
