Photographer Joe Gilhooley

That this House acknowledges the supreme talents of photographer Joe Gilhooley from Loanhead, Midlothian; notes his recent success in a global photographic competition where his image Red Eyed Frog on an Orchid won third place; further notes his impressive list of previous achievements including winning The Scots Magazine Photographer of the Year in 2017 when he entered his Loch Rusky sunrise photograph in their national competition; applauds his further success at again winning the award in 2019; recognises his prodigious talents, selfless commitment and role in promoting photography; and wishes him every success in all of his future photographic endeavours.
