The motion
That this House congratulates Peoples Ford Boghall and Bathgate Caledonia Pipe Band on their magnificent victory at the 2023 World Pipe Band Championships, held at Glasgow Green on 18 and 19 August in front of 35,000 spectators; notes that 190 bands and almost 9,000 pipers and drummers from 15 countries across the globe competed; commends the hard work and dedication of everyone involved in the Peoples Ford Boghall and Bathgate Caledonia Pipe Band in achieving this level of success; and wishes the Band all the very best in future competitions.
