Maxwell’s in Clarkston and the National Pub and Bar Awards

That this House congratulates Maxwell’s, located in Clarkston, East Renfrewshire, on being named one of 94 County Winners of the National Pub and Bar Awards 2024; recognises that Maxwell’s has been based in the Sheddens area of Clarkston for 10 years; notes that the National Pub and Bar Awards celebrates the pub and bar trade and assesses the excellence of this sector across a number of elements including design, service, style of offering, marketing and investment; understands that the grand final of the National Pub and Bar Awards will take place in London on 26 June 2024, with Maxwell’s represented in the South of Scotland regional section; recognises the important social and economic role which pubs such as Maxwell’s play in local communities across East Renfrewshire; and wishes everyone at Maxwell’s the very best of luck ahead of the grand final of the National Pub and Bar Awards and for their continued success.
