Family Business Week 2025

The motion

That this House supports Family Business Week 2025, a week-long celebration led by Family Business UK of family businesses across the UK; supports the theme of Family Business Week 2025 in encouraging family businesses to export internationally; recognises that family-owned business are the backbone of the UK economy, employing millions of people and contributing hundreds of billions in Gross Value Added; and calls on the Government to ensure that family businesses are placed at the heart of its mission to grow the UK economy.
