Morgan House and Healthier Heroes CIC

That this House welcomes the opening of Morgan House in Boosbeck, East Cleveland, a new specialist support centre providing accommodation, counselling and recovery services for veterans and their families from across the north of England; commends the work of Healthier Heroes CIC in delivering housing, rehabilitation and reintegration support for veterans across the North; pays tribute to the life of former Royal Marine Sam Morgan whose memory inspired the naming of the facility and whose story highlights the urgent need for timely and effective mental health support for those leaving service; and calls for continued national efforts to renew the nation’s contract with those who served, ensuring that every veteran has access to the care, housing and opportunities worthy of their service and sacrifice.
