Dr Thomas Henry Geddis OBE

That this House notes with deep sorrow the passing of Dr Thomas Henry, Tom, Geddis OBE of Lurgan, Northern Ireland, who died peacefully on 9 November 2025; recognises his outstanding service as a much-loved doctor whose care for the physical and spiritual well-being of his patients was a lasting testimony to his Christian faith; pays tribute to his years of missionary medical service in Brazil, where he ministered selflessly to local communities, often travelling by bicycle brought from Northern Ireland to reach those most in need; acknowledges the profound influence of his unwavering faith in Christ, which guided a lifetime of compassion, humility, and dedication to others; and extends heartfelt sympathy to his wife Lucimar, his family, his church fellowship, and all those in Northern Ireland and beyond whose lives were blessed by his faithful witness and service to God and humanity.
