Lisa Petrie's response to her son's fatal stabbing

The motion

That this House welcomes the tireless work of Lisa Petrie in fundraising for and distributing bleed kits following the fatal stabbing of her son John in September this year; understands that bleed kits are specifically designed to handle life threatening bleeding from an injury or attack; and agrees that the Government should consider all steps to reduce stabbings in our communities including making it harder to obtain knives from retailers.
