40th anniversary of the ordination of Father John McGinley

That this House congratulates Father John McGinley on the occasion of the Ordination Jubilee marking the 40th anniversary of his ordination; celebrates his 40 years of priesthood; recognises that he was ordained 40 years ago in St Stephen's Church Clydebank; commends his work over these years across a number of parishes in the Archdiocese of Glasgow; notes that he now serves as Parish Priest for St Mary's and St Joseph's Parish; acknowledges and thanks him for his outstanding service to the church and community; and wishes Father John McGinley every success as he continues to serve for many more years to come.
