Bonhill Primary School Pupils' charity fundraising

That this House congratulates Bonhill Primary School pupils Daphne and Evie on winning the Creative category in the prestigious RKC Young Kennel Club Young Person of the Year awards for their commitment to raising the profile of Maggie’s Centres and Scottie dogs; applauds them for raising £2,600 in support of the charity Maggie's Centres who support cancer patients by holding a Meet the Scotties event for 150 fellow pupils; notes that they promoted the forthcoming Scotties in the City trail for Maggie’s and represented the initiative at Crufts 2026; recognises that their fundraising was inspired by the support Maggie’s provided to their grandmother during her cancer treatment; commends their compassion and initiative; and wishes them every success in their continued support for Maggie’s and its work supporting people affected by cancer.
