Westerhaven Impact Report 2025

That this House welcomes the Health Agency's Westerhaven Impact Report 2025; congratulates the Agency for its work to support over 2,000 people annually in some of South-West Edinburgh's most deprived communities; applauds its commitment to combating the effects of poverty, ill health, mental health issues, social isolation, food insecurity and inequality; thanks the Agency's staff and volunteers for their tireless work to support members of the community; highlights the Agency's Westerhaven Service which provides specialist emotional and practical support for people affected by cancer and long term, progressive health conditions; praises the Westerhaven Service for supporting 251 clients last year; acknowledges the financial challenges faced by the charity in 2025 and applauds the resilience used to maintain a good level of service provision; and wishes them well with their aims to expand services and outreach in the coming year.
