Rob Roy promotion

That this House congratulates Kirkintilloch Rob Roy Football Club on securing promotion to the West of Scotland Football League Premier Division; recognises the hard work, commitment and resilience of the players, manager, coaching staff, committee, volunteers and supporters throughout the campaign; notes the proud history of the club, founded in 1878, and its continued importance to Kirkintilloch and the wider local community; further notes the club’s return to Kirkintilloch at the Kirkintilloch Community Sports Complex and the role it plays in supporting local sport and community participation; and wishes everyone at Kirkintilloch Rob Roy FC every success in the Premier Division next season.
