Brecon War Memorial Hospital League of Friends

That this House recognises the longstanding contribution of the League of Friends of Brecon War Memorial Hospital to patients, staff and the wider community; notes the closure of the League's hospital shop after 19 years of dedicated service providing refreshments, essential items and everyday goods to patients and visitors; acknowledges the extensive fundraising work carried out by the League, including in the past year the provision of physiotherapy equipment, a refurbishment of the maternity suite, support for the children's unit, Christmas gifts for patients and meals for staff; pays tribute to the volunteers, trustees and supporters whose dedication has made this work possible over many decades; thanks all those who gave their time and commitment to running the hospital shop throughout its history; and wishes the League of Friends every success in their future charitable endeavours.
