That this House acknowledges and celebrates the high-quality and person-centred social care provided by the team at Community Integrated Care, Griffin Lodge in Heald Green, Cheadle; celebrates and thanks the amazing staff who are a highly skilled workforce with multifaceted roles and the dedicated management team who all work so hard to support the people living there with a highly personalised and community-based approach; recognises that the team truly care about the work that they do and that the people supported at Griffin lodge live fulfilled, enriched and independent lives; further celebrates the top tier facilities including sensory rooms, great outdoor spaces, incredible design and decoration; and urgently calls for more drastic Government action to support social care in the long term such as fair pay and improved and streamlined funding.
