Lampeter Town AFC 100th anniversary

That this House congratulates Lampeter Town AFC on the occasion of its 100th anniversary; notes that the club was one of the founder members of the Cardiganshire League, and secured promotion from its first division in the 2024-25 season; recognises the significant contribution the club has made to sporting, social, and community life in Lampeter through its men’s, women’s, and junior teams; further recognises the quality of players developed by the club over many decades; applauds the club's annual junior football tournament for the opportunity it offers hundreds of young boys and girls from teams across Wales; commends the volunteers, players and supporters who have sustained the club over the past century; and wishes Lampeter Town AFC every success as it enters its second century.
