Benson Community Shed

The motion

That this House welcomes the establishment of the Benson Community Shed, a valuable new initiative providing a shared space for local residents to come together, learn new skills, and build social connections; recognises the important role that community sheds play in promoting wellbeing, reducing isolation, and supporting mental health through practical and creative activities; commends the volunteers and organisers, whose dedication over many years has made the project possible; and notes the broader contribution such spaces make to fostering stronger, more resilient communities.
