WOW travel tracker and Ysgol Llanfawr

That this House congratulates pupils at Ysgol Llanfawr in Ynys Môn for reaching the top of a national leaderboard celebrating children who are making strides to walk or wheel to school; notes that WOW, the walk to school challenge from charity Living Streets Cymru, sees pupils record how they get to school using the interactive WOW travel tracker, a comprehensive method of gaining valuable insights into school travel habits; further notes that the tracker helps boost pupils’ engagement in the overall challenge and helps increase active travel rates at schools by awarding those who walk, wheel, cycle, scoot or Park and Stride with a monthly WOW badge; highlights that 95% of journeys recorded by pupils at Ysgol Llanfawr during the month of June were active travel journeys; and commends pupils at the school as well as the 200 primary schools in Wales currently participating in the challenge for showing how small actions lead to big impacts such as easing congestion, improving air quality, and creating cleaner, healthier streets.
