That, in the opinion of this House, it is the role of Her Majesty's armed forces to sustain the security of the United Kingdom and United Kingdom interests and not to put their lives at risk in a foreign civil war in response to pressure for a moral crusade provoked by television coverage of terrible and heartrending events in Bosnia.
