The motion
That this House notes that it is the 50th anniversary of the decision of the German Government to change its mind about making the Reichsmark the single currency of Europe under the New Economic Order, having been persuaded by Dr. Funk, the Minister for Economic Affairs that it would be better for Germany to reduce the industrial capacity of the rest of Europe by allowing each country to retain its currency but have the exchange rates fixed in Germany.
