The motion

That this House, conscious of the need for the BBC to be in a position to defend itself from accusations of bias, believes that it is inappropriate for a programme with the extensive coverage of Woman's Hour, and the propagandist opportunities it consequently provides, to be presented by a self declared feminist with an unrepresentative life style proclaimed in such a manner as to give rise to fears that the programme might be used consciously or subconsciously as a platform for self justification and proselytisation; and further believes that Miss Jenni Murray should be replaced by someone better placed to reflect the circumstances and aspirations of the potential audience.
