The motion
leave out from second 'that' to end and add 'Imperial Tobacco Limited discontinued the use of the Reg character in their advertisements for Regal cigarettes in December 1993 at the request of the Advertising Standards Authority; notes further that this was to have an immediate effect on all their advertising with the exception of one promotion for a Welsh snooker event which was already in progress; and acknowledges that there has been no new use of the Reg character in Regal advertisements or promotions.'.
