Lord Norton of Louth moved, as an amendment to the motion that the bill be committed to a Committee of the Whole House, at end to insert “and that the Committee shall not meet until 14 days from the date of Second Reading, in accordance with the House’s recommended minimum intervals between stages of bills”.
