Banking Bill

Baroness Noakes moved amendment 12, Clause 5, page 4, line 18, to leave out subsection (2) and insert— “(2) The code shall not come into force unless an order containing the code has been laid before Parliament. (2A) An order under subsection (2)— (a) shall be made by statutory instrument, and (b) shall be subject to annulment in pursuance of a resolution of either House of Parliament.”
