Personal Care at Home Bill

Lord Lipsey moved amendment 5, in clause 2, page 2, line 31, at end to insert: “(3) This Act shall come into force on such day as the Secretary of State may, by order made by statutory instrument, appoint. (4) A statutory instrument containing an order made under subsection (3) may not be made unless a draft of the instrument has been laid before, and approved by, a resolution of each House of Parliament.” The House divided:
