It was moved by the Baroness Byford, in Clause 1, page 1, line 10, at end to insert: “( ) After sub-paragraph (1) insert— “( ) Where the Minister uses the power under sub-paragraph (1)(c) above he shall give, in writing to the keeper of the animals, his reasons for doing so.””; which being objected to, the question was put thereupon, and the Committee divided:
