Nationality, Immigration and Asylum Bill

It was moved by the Lord Kingsland, in Clause 70, page 41, line 19, to leave out from “is” to end of line 22 and insert “convicted in the United Kingdom of an offence and either: (a) the offence is one for which the maximum period of imprisonment is ten years or more, or (b) the offence has been specified for the purpose of this subsection under subsection (3A).”; which being objected to, the question was put thereupon, and the House divided:
