Nationality, Immigration and Asylum Bill
It was moved by the Baroness Anelay of St Johns to propose the following amendment in lieu of Lords amendment 17 to which the Commons have disagreed: Page 9, line 8, at end insert: “( ) In determining the location of premises provided under this section the Secretary of State shall have regard to the needs of the persons to be accommodated therein.”; which being objected to, the question was put thereupon, and the House divided:

The party breakdowns are our own analysis of the official voting records (recorded votes only; they do not describe the formal whip). How we work this out.
Peers attend divisions ad hoc, so there is no did-not-vote list. Tellers are counted in the Content and Not Content totals, unlike in the Commons.
Tellers: Baroness Seccombe (Content), Lord Addington (Content), Lord Grocott (Not Content), The Lord McIntosh of Haringey (Not Content).
