Horserace Betting and Olympic Lottery Bill

It was moved by the Lord Moynihan, in Clause 16, page 11, line 17, at end to insert: “( ) In exercising his responsibilities under this section, the Secretary of State shall ensure that the Horserace Forensic Laboratory is established as an independent agency with the same aims and purposes as it had at the time which this Act is passed.”; which being objected to, the question was put thereupon, and the House divided:
