Hunting Bill
It was moved by the Baroness Mallalieu, as an amendment to the motion of the Lord Whitty to agree with the Commons, that this House do insist on its amendments 1 to 9, 10C, 11, 12C, 13 to 44, 46C, 47 to 51, 52C, 53 and 54 to which the Commons have disagreed, and do disagree with the Commons in their amendment 54C; which being objected to, the question was put thereupon, and the House divided:
The Contents have it
Majority 39
At a glance The Contents won by a margin of 39 votes. The Government's position was Not Content, and it lost. This was not a whipped vote, so no party line applied.

The party breakdowns are our own analysis of the official voting records (recorded votes only; they do not describe the formal whip). How we work this out.
Peers attend divisions ad hoc, so there is no did-not-vote list. Tellers are counted in the Content and Not Content totals, unlike in the Commons.
Tellers: Lord Mancroft (Content), Baroness Mallalieu (Content), Lord Faulkner of Worcester (Not Content), Baroness Gale (Not Content).
