To ask the Scottish Executive what plans it has to promote information technology in schools.
Answer · Sam Galbraith: £100 million for IT resources has been allocated over the next 3 years, supported by £23 million for training from the New Opportunities Fund. We will announce details soon of a scheme to help teachers buy computers.
