To ask the Scottish Executive whether additional neonatal consultants will be required as a result of the closure of the Queen Mother's Hospital as part of plans for the reconfiguration of maternity services in Greater Glasgow.
Answer · Malcolm Chisholm: NHS Greater Glasgow’s proposals for the reconfiguration of maternity services include a proposal for the recruitment of two additional neonatal consultants in order to ensure neonatal support for the Royal Hospital for Sick Children.</p>
