Answer · Michael Russell: The independent review of Devolved School Management will be published in the coming weeks. After publication, COSLA and the Scottish Government will work together on revising the 2006 guidelines.

To ask the Scottish Executive whether it has received any recent communications from the European Justice Commissioner in relation to victim support systems.

Answer · Kenny MacAskill: The European Commission published a package of proposed measures relating to victims of crime on 18 May 2011. On 10 June 2011 I met Ms Viviane Reding, the EU Commissioner for Justice, Fundamental Rights and Citizenship, and discussed those proposals.
