To ask the Scottish Executive when the updated Scottish Strategy for Victims will be published.
Answer · Kenny MacAskill: A review of victims policy is now being commenced. The process will include a consultation on options for improving victim support planned for late summer 2010 and will conclude with publication of an updated policy framework at the turn of the year.</p>

To ask the Scottish Executive how many applications were outstanding when the Energy Saving Scotland home renewables grant scheme was closed for electricity generating technologies and for new build properties on 17 March 2010.
Answer · Jim Mather: There were 219 outstanding applications for Energy Saving Scotland home renewables grants on 17 March 2010. Of these, 131 related to electricity generating technologies or new build properties.</p>

To ask the Scottish Executive whether applications received for the Energy Saving Scotland home renewables grant scheme but not fully processed by the closure of the scheme on 17 March 2010 will still be considered.
Answer · Jim Mather: Energy Saving Scotland home renewables grants is a demand led scheme and able to stay open only as long as funding allows. All those which were being actively assessed but not fully processed before 17 March 2010 were considered for funding.</p>

Answer · Jim Mather: By 17 March 2010, there had been 722 applications made under the Energy Saving Scotland home renewables grant scheme from the Highlands and Islands. Of these, 674 were successful.</p>
