To ask the Scottish Executive whether it will seek to meet the London Olympic Delivery Authority to discuss how it progressed the case for a living wage to be paid by contractors within the constraints of EU law.
Answer · Alex Neil: My officials have arranged to meet with counterparts at the London Olympic Delivery Authority in June 2011 to discuss the living wage in the context of public procurement processes and policies.

To ask the Scottish Executive, further to the answer to question S3W-40420 by Nicola Sturgeon on 16 March 2011, how many NHS staff have received a wage increase as a result of the living wage introduced on 1 April 2011.
Answer · Nicola Sturgeon: Scottish Government analysts estimate that approximately 4,600 NHS Scotland staff have received a wage increase as a result of the introduction of the living wage.
