Hold a referendum on the monarchy before the Prince of Wales becomes King

What the petition asks
The Prince of Wales aspires to be more politically involved than the Queen has when he becomes King, and this would be inappropriate in a democracy, as it gives an unelected person disproportionate influence. We should be allowed to choose to either establish a republic or legitimise his influence.
