Provide dedicated, support for veterans instead of relying on service charities

What the petition asks

Recently a friend who I served with in the Army has fallen on hard times. His brothers who served with him have banded together to try and get him back on his feet. Although service charities do a wonderful job helping out, the reality is this issue is far to important and veterans deserve better

Serviceman - often have have serious mental health needs currently Combat Stress have over 5000 clients aged from 19 to 97

Serviceman - Currently there are approximately 9000 homeless ex serviceman - Jim Jukes founder of Help for Heroes

These are just 2 statistics which as a nation we need to address - a proper veterans agency that care for our men and women. This country deserves to care for our Heroes not letting them be left to charity no matter how well intentione.
