Establish & support a queer (LGBT+) community centre in London.

Rejected 19 signatures

What the petition asks

London's LGBT community is diverse and long established, yet no queer spaces exist apart from commercial venues. The community is experiencing an array of issues that we need a community centre to help us build peer support and contribute to the society we are a part of. We need a safe place.
London's LGBT community currently centres around Soho and Vauxhall's bars and clubs, normalising and promoting drug use (I.e. alcohol) in LGBT youth. This MUST change for the wellbeing of society as whole so that we are empowered to confront issues facing our community.

Why it was rejected

It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.
