What the petition asks
The current criteria to obtain a licence is making it open to everyone, we are over run with dogs and puppies in this country. It is currently believed that if money is tight, then "we can breed the dog to make a quick buck or two" shelters are then left to deal with the consequences.
The UK is suppose to be a nation of animal lovers, dogs are meant to be mans best friend......from my recent experience this is no longer the case......dogs are now a quick way to make some money......this results is many unwanted litters, designer breeding, and breeding deformities and illness in to the breed.
You only need to look on Facebook, Gumtree, Pets4homes and other selling sites to see just how bad this is.
This is how easy it is to get a licences
