What the petition asks
To ensure EU citizens entering the UK have a job offer or be self-employed, have sufficient resources and health insurance to ensure that they do not become a burden on the social assistance system or are following a course of study and have sufficient funds and health insurance.
The host member state (UK) has the right to expel any EU citizen within 90 days of arrival who does not meet the above criteria and bar re-entry for a period of 12 months.
To utilise the Vagrancy Act (1838) and the Public Space Protection Order (PSPO) Anti-social Behaviour, Crime and Policing Act 2014 to expel EU vagrants, rough sleepers and beggars.
