Apply political pressure to China and stop the illegal torture of sharks

What the petition asks
Following the public release of footage showing a live protected Whale Shark being cut to pieces, I believe the UK government should apply political pressure to China to stop illegal things like this from happening again. The Shark being a protected species should be released if accidently caught.
