Strict statutory regulation of physician associates to maintain patient safety.

Closed 65 signatures

What the petition asks

At present the regulation of physician associates is voluntary through a voluntary register. This register does not have the force of the law. This means that physician associates can see patients even if they are not registered. This poses an unacceptable risk to patient safety in GP surgeries.
