What the petition asks

I am shocked by the number of people still using their mobile phones while driving, especially those who drive for a living. The current punishments for using your phone while driving are clearly not harsh enough. Perhaps an automatic ban of 2 months would deter people.

It only takes a short journey on a motorway to see erratic and dangerous driving, usually caused by people using their mobile phones.
