Repeal the laws on cannabis

Rejected 14 signatures

What the petition asks

Too many people are being turned into criminals for a harmless plant that has circulated the planet for thousands of years.Young people are turned into criminals for something that is safer than alcohol, more people die from overdose of paracetomol, than cannabis in its entire existence.
year ending march 2014 67% of all drug crime was cannabis related, it is clear that the laws on cannabis are not only ineffective but also have a negative effect on families nationwide.
Reports state that cannabis crime is down, but in year ending march 2015, all drug offences rose:no data on drugs! http://www.ons.gov.uk/ons/rel/crime-stats/crime-statistics/year-ending-march-2015/index.html
Mr cameron sir, the laws on cannabis are illegal, they are harmful to society and they destroy the lives
