What the petition asks

I am living in Mexico City with my wife who is Mexican. The only way we could be together was for me

Why it was rejected

It was not clear what the petition asked the UK Government or Parliament to do.

Petitions need to contain a clear statement explaining what action you want the UK Government or Parliament to take.

It seems from your petition that you believe that it is too difficult for a British national to get married in the UK to someone who is not British. If that is the case, you could start a petition asking for specific changes to the rules or costs.
