What the petition asks
Facial masquing in public renders the expensive use of surveilance cameras useless. It is also not in our countrys culture to cover ones face so as not to appear integrated into our society.
On frequent visits back to England, my country of origin, myself and friends and family feel intimidated by so many people dressed from head to foot with only their eyes showing. These people could be female, or male terrorists. Exemptions would be-:Motorcycle helmets
Face masks for health reasons
Face covering for sporting or professional activities
Sunglasses, hats etc which do not completely hide the face
Masks used in "traditional activities", such as carnivals.
