What the petition asks
Prime example are EE and O2 with major issues over the last few years.
We are in a time where 4G speeds are meant to be nearly accessible to all but lucky to see 3G for EE and hardly get Edge/3G on O2.
The town needs upgraded masts and services

The town needs upgraded masts and services
Over the last few years around the towns of Malton and Norton in North Yorkshire the phone signal problems for making phone calls and text messaging have been poor.
The data services for mobile internet have been slow with faults throughout. The prime examples have been EE and O2 with constant downtime of services. This petition has been created to try and get the government to help by making the major network providers to listen and take some major action and improvements.

Why it was rejected
It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.
The UK Government is not directly responsible for the upgrading of masts around Malton/ Norton in North Yorkshire.
If you would like the UK Government or Parliament to encourage the network providers to upgrade the masts in this area, we could accept a petition about that.
