Closed 1,246 signatures

What the petition asks

In 2004 Lord Lloyd of Berwick was asked to chair an Independent Public Inquiry into the illnesses of over 6,000 veterans of the first Gulf War.
The MOD chose not to attend.
Successive Governments have still failed to implement the findings of expert medical and military witnesses 11 years later.
Lord Lloyd of Berwick is a retired Law Lord. The two other members of the Tribunal were Dr Norman Jones FRCP & Sir Michael Davies.
Expert witnesses included 35 veterans, their wives or widows. This list includes Dr Nigel Graveston (Deployed), Shaun Rusling (Deployed), Samantha Thompson, the widow of Nigel Thompson who died of Motor Neurone Disease (MND) at the age of 44, Dr Derek Hall (Vaccinated but non-deployed), Mr Terry Walker (Now deceased), General Sir Peter De La Billiere.
